Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

The present disclosure claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202210718785.0 filed with CNIPA on Jun. 23, 2022 and entitled “PORTABLE INFLATABLE SOFA”, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of inflatable products, and particularly relates to a portable inflatable sofa.

In recent years, with the advent of outdoor sports such as camping and beach leisure activities, it would be pleasant to put up your own nest in the green countryside, breathe fresh air, and feel natural atmosphere of the wilderness, allowing you to temporarily escape from the pressure and bondage of the city and unlock yourself and the soul. On occasions of camping of beach leisure activities, sporting events, fishing, etc., an outdoor seat is required for short breaks, and a portable seat takes an essential role.

At present, foldable seats are commonly available in the market. Steel tubes are used as a support structure, and a crossed steel tube supported Oxford cloth is used for bearing. During storage, a steel tube structure can be converged and folded, so as to be convenient to store. However, a steel tube of the foldable seat after folded is long, and still occupies a large space. Moreover, with a weight of a human body supported by the Oxford cloth, its comfort level is inadequate, and is much lower than that of sitting on a sofa at home. An inflatable sofa is available in the prior art, and is conventionally an inflatable pack large in size. With air inside flowing, the sofa is unstable when people sit on it, and people may be sunk in the sofa. Moreover, being less attractive and stable, the sofa is especially not suitable for children.

In order to solve at least one of the above technical problems, the present disclosure provides a portable inflatable sofa.

The technical solution employed in the present disclosure is as follows:

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a portable inflatable sofa, including a sofa body made of a drop-stitch air cushion material, wherein the sofa body is formed by folding an integrally-cut structure, the sofa body is divided by folds into a backrest portion, a seat cushion portion, and armrest portions on two sides, and the backrest portion and the armrest portions are configured to be folded upwards to form a state of being relatively perpendicular to the seat cushion portion; and the inflatable sofa further includes a connection strap, wherein the backrest portion is connected to the armrest portions on the two sides through the connection strap.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the sofa body includes a drop-stitch fabric layer, an airtight coating layer, a fusion layer, and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film layer in sequence from inside to outside, a cutting opening of the drop-stitch fabric layer is sealed by an edge sealing strip, a decorative strip is arranged on an outer side of the edge sealing strip, and the decorative strip is bonded to the polyvinyl chloride film layer on an upper side and a lower side, respectively.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, an arc-shaped transition opening is formed at a corner joint between the backrest portion and the armrest portion and the arc-shaped transition opening is concave inward, and a decorative strip at the arc-shaped transition opening is made of an elastic material or a pleated material.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the sofa body further includes a memory elastic sheet, and the memory elastic sheet is arranged at a joint between the armrest portion and the seat cushion portion, so that after the armrest portion is folded, the armrest portion is in a state of being relatively perpendicular to the seat cushion portion; and/or

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, a first memory elastic sheet is arranged between the armrest portion on one side and the seat cushion portion, and a second memory elastic sheet is arranged between the armrest portion on another side and the seat cushion portion; the first memory elastic sheet and the second memory elastic sheet extend to at least ½ of a height of the corresponding armrest portions; and alternatively, and/or

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, a protective layer is arranged at an outer side of the memory elastic sheet, and the protective layer is fixed to an inner side of the polyvinyl chloride film layer.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the connection strap includes a first connection section arranged on the armrest portion on one side and a second connection section arranged on the armrest portion on another side, the first connection section is detachably connected to the second connection section through an insert buckle, and the first connection section and the second connection section include an adjustment strap and an adjustment buckle, respectively.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the connection strap is an elastic adjustment strap.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, a non-slip wear pad is arranged on a lower end surface of the seat cushion portion.

As an embodiment of the present disclosure, a D-shaped ring and an elastic pocket are arranged on an outer side of the armrest portions; and a top end of the backrest portion is provided with a handle.

With the above technical solution employed, the present disclosure has the beneficial effects as follows:

1. The portable inflatable sofa of the present disclosure is formed by an inflatable body made of the drop-stitch air cushion cloth material. The backrest portion, a base portion, and the armrest portions on the two sides are formed by folding one inflatable body, and only an edge of the integrally-cut structure needs to be sealed, so that airtightness is more desirable. An inner core of the drop-stitch air cushion cloth material consists of tens of thousands of composite fibers. When in use, each inflatable body is inflated. When inflation is performed to the recommended pounds per square inch (PSI), under the action of the fibers, an air pressure is evenly distributed on a top surface and a bottom surface, so that a hard and stable inner core is formed. After inflation is performed to a sufficiently firm state, a desirable bearing capacity is realized. Then, the backrest portion and the armrest portions are folded up, so as to reach the state of being relatively perpendicular to the seat cushion portion, so that the portable inflatable sofa will not be dented when a user sits on it, and offers great comfort. The connection strap connecting the backrest portion and the armrest portions is maintained in a state after forming. When required to be stored, the portable inflatable sofa can be easily stored and folded after deflated, so that a small space is occupied.

2. As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the sofa body includes the drop-stitch fabric layer, the airtight coating layer, the fusion layer, and the polyvinyl chloride film layers in sequence from inside to outside. The airtight coating layer ensures airtightness, and avoids air leakage. The polyvinyl chloride film layers are attached to the outside through a hot melt technology and the fusion layer. High-quality polyvinyl chloride outer films are firm and wear-resistant, and thus are suitable for outdoor use. The cutting opening of the drop-stitch fabric layer is closed and sealed through the edge sealing strip, and the decorative strips are arranged on the outer sides of the edge sealing strip, so as to ensure the appearance. Further, the dented arc-shaped transition opening is formed at the corner joint between the backrest portion and the armrest portion. By reserving the arc-shaped transition opening, insufficient folding caused by accumulation of the material at the corner joint during folding forming is avoided. The decorative strip at the arc-shaped transition opening is made of an elastic material or a pleated material. During folding, a surface at the corner joint deforms obviously. The elastic material or the pleated material is deformable, and thus will not be pressed or accumulated. Accordingly, the appearance is attractive.

3. As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the memory elastic sheet is arranged, so that the shape stability of the armrest portion folded upwards is ensured, and more labor is saved on. The memory elastic sheet is arranged at the joint between the armrest portion and the seat cushion portion. In a non-inflated state, the memory elastic sheet is in a curled state, so as to be stored automatically. In an inflated state, when folded up, the memory elastic sheet has a tendency to curl. However, the inflatable body has certain structural strength, so that the memory elastic sheet can maintain a state of being relatively perpendicular to the armrest portion only. The memory elastic sheet is used as a skeleton structure of the inflatable body after inflation, so that a simple structure is realized. Accordingly, the armrest portion can maintain vertical without adding too many structures, and the portability of the inflatable sofa is ensured.

4. As an embodiment of the present disclosure, the connection strap is the adjustable connection strap. The connection strap includes the first connection section arranged on the armrest portion on one side and the second connection section arranged on the armrest portion on the other side, and the first connection section is detachably connected to the second connection section through the insert buckle. Thus, attachment and detachment are facilitated by means of the insert buckle. Moreover, the first connection section and the second connection section are each provided with the adjustment strap and the adjustment buckle configured to adjust a length. Accordingly, an inclined state of the backrest portion can be adjusted by adjusting the lengths, so that a state of user comfort is achieved.
