The disclosure relates to party games and more particularly pertains to a new reusable party game kit for providing a piñata-style game that promotes complete release of party treats by using a balloon connected to a container.

The prior art relates to party games. The prior art, as best understood, does not disclose a balloon amusement apparatus comprising a hangable balloon holder with an air valve that attaches to a pneumatic pump, wherein the pump is used to slowly inflate a balloon until it bursts. The balloon is replaceable and configured with a plurality of items such as candy or toys which scatter when the balloon bursts.

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above in a reusable party game kit generally comprising a container, a hose, and a balloon. The container includes a cavity to hold a supply of party treats, an input port, and an output port designed to permit party treats to pass out of the cavity. The hose is connected to the input port and designed to operatively connect the container to an air supply to permit flow of air into the cavity. The balloon is connected to the output port, wherein the balloon is designed to be inflated and filled with party treats passing out of the cavity until the balloon explodes.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular tothereof, a new reusable party game kit embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeralwill be described.

As best illustrated in, the reusable party game kitgenerally comprises A reusable party game kitincludes a container, a hose, and a balloon. The containerincludes a cavityto hold a supply of party treats, an input port, and an output portdesigned to permit party treatsto pass out of the cavity. The hoseis connected to the input portand designed to operatively connect the containerto an air supplyto permit flow of air into the cavity. The balloonis connected to the output port, wherein the balloonis designed to be inflated and filled with party treatspassing out of the cavityuntil the balloonexplodes.

As shown in, the containercan include a decorative design on an outer surface thereof. The containercan be shaped in the form of an animal or person. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the containeris in the shape of a rabbit-like animal that would be entertaining or attractive to children. However, virtually any design or shape is possible for different types of events.

As shown in, the output portis positioned on a bottom portionof the containerunder the cavityto permit party treatsto fall out by gravity. The output portcan also include a friction structurepositioned on the exterior thereof, such as ribbing or screw threads, which would help secure the balloonin place as shown in.

In one possible embodiment, the reusable party game kitfurther includes a selectively actuatable air supplyconnected to the hose. In the exemplary embodiment shown in, the air supplyis a manual pump, though a powered or compressed air device could be used. As shown in, the hosecan be used to suspend the containerfrom above in the manner of a piñata, though other suspension structures could be used, such as wires or cords.

The reusable party game kitis for use primarily as a piñata-style game. As shown in, a user first inserts party treatsinto the cavityvia the output port. The party treatscan be both edible and inedible items, such as candy or party favors. The user connects the balloonto the output to cover it and prevent party treatsfrom falling out. The hoseis connected to the input portand to the air supply. As shown in, the user then suspends the containerfrom an overhead support structure, such as a ceiling or similar. Again, this can be done using the hoseas shown or by another support. The air supplyis then operated to inflate the balloon. As the balloonexpands, the balloonis filled with the party treatspassing out of the cavity, in this case by gravity, though the air pressure could also be a factor in blowing the party treatsout of the container, especially if the party treatsare particularly light in weight. The inflation could be done by one person, or could be done by persons at the party, such as children, taking turns to make for a more interactive experience. Regardless of the inflation process, the balloonis inflated until either the balloonexplodes by too much pressure, or by a person impinging the balloonwith an object and causing the balloonto explode or pop. Once the balloonexplodes, the party treatsare released all at once for collection by persons playing with the reusable party game kit. The process can be repeated with additional balloonsand party treats, wherein in one possible embodiment the reusable party game kitincludes a plurality of balloons.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
