Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

The present disclosure relates to a manufacturing information management device and a manufacturing information management method that generate manufacturing results on a per unit of manufacturing management basis from manufacturing data acquired from facilities.

There is a known system that operates industrial machines such as a machine tool and a robot based on manufacturing instructions from a production management system and collects results achieved in accordance with the instructions. For example, see Patent Document 1.

Patent Document 1: Japanese Unexamined Patent Application, Publication No. 2007-172522

However, in a case where the production management system and the industrial machines do not have a function of operating based on manufacturing instructions or are not configured to do so, manufacturing result data corresponding to manufacturing instructions cannot be automatically collected unless improvements are made to both the production management system and the industrial machines. In this case, for example, an operator has to record the results on a manufacturing instruction sheet of paper or the like. Furthermore, even in the case where an operator records the results, there may be disadvantages that the recorded contents are not necessarily accurate, the recording is time-consuming, and so on. Further, where numerical control devices are concerned, when a numerical control device cannot receive workpiece information (i.e., the numerical control device does not have such a function or is not linked with a production management system, etc.), it is difficult to associate manufacturing instructions with machining-related data that. can be acquired from the numerical control device.

Therefore, it is desired to generate manufacturing results on a per unit of manufacturing management basis based on preset conditions, from manufacturing data that is time-series data acquired from facilities.

One aspect of a manufacturing information management device of the present disclosure includes: a manufacturing data acquisition unit that acquires manufacturing data including at least manufacture-related time-series data from a facility; and a manufacturing result generation unit that generates, from the manufacturing data, manufacturing data on a per arbitrary unit of manufacturing management as manufacturing results, based on preset manufacturing result generation conditions.

One aspect of a manufacturing information management method of the present disclosure is for causing a computer to function as a manufacturing information management device, and includes: a manufacturing data acquisition step of acquiring manufacturing data including at least manufacture-related time-series data from a facility; and a manufacturing result generation step of generating, from the manufacturing data, manufacturing data on a per arbitrary unit of manufacturing management unit as manufacturing results, based on preset manufacturing result generation conditions.

A manufacturing result management system according to one embodiment will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. The following describes, as an example, a manufacturing result management system in a metalworking factory employing job-shop production and equipped with a plurality of facilities, which are industrial machines such as machine tools and robots, arranged therein. It should be noted that the application of the present invention is not limited to metalworking factories, and the present invention is applicable to any factory having a plurality facilities. Furthermore, the present invention is applicable to various machines as industrial machines such as machine tools, industrial robots, service robots, forging machines, laser processing machines, injection molding machines, and the like.

112 13 13 112 14 200 200 210 220 230 240 210 210 210 121 210 210 210 13 13 3 FIG. 5 FIG. 5 FIG. 2 FIG. The result generation condition setting unitsets the manufacturing result generation conditions illustrated inbased on, for example, an input operation by an operator via the input unit. Specifically, for example, upon receiving a setting instruction for setting a manufacturing result generation condition from the operator via the input unit, the result generation condition setting unitdisplays, on the display unit, a result generation condition list screen that allows for setting the manufacturing result generation condition.is a diagram illustrating an example of a result generation condition list screen. As illustrated in, the result generation condition list screenis a user interface including a result generation condition list, a create button, an edit button, and a delete button. The display areas for “Title of Condition” in the result generation condition listeach display a workpiece type and a process step for each of the units of manufacturing management for which the manufacturing result generation conditions are set. The display areas for “Result Generation Trigger Classification” in the result generation condition listeach display the classification of a condition that triggers the manufacturing result generation (e.g., “machining program”, “torque command”, etc.). For example, referring to the manufacturing dataillustrated in, for “Workpiece Type A, Process Step 1” and “Workpiece Type B, Process Step 1”, a start of execution of the machining program “O1000” and a start of execution of the machining program “O2000” trigger the result generation. Accordingly, “Machining Program” is displayed in the respective display area for “Result Generation Trigger Classification” in the result generation condition list. For “Workpiece Type A, Process Step 2”, the result generation is determined based on a torque command, and accordingly, “Torque Command” is displayed in the display area for “Result Generation Trigger Classification” in the result generation condition list. The display areas for “Operation Switching” in the result generation condition listeach displays an “Operating” button or a “Stopped” button for switching the operation of generating a manufacturing result for the workpiece type and process step displayed in the display area for “Title of Condition”. For example, when the display area for “Operation Switching” displays the “Operating” button, it indicates that a manufacturing result for the corresponding workpiece type and process step is being generated. In response to an operator pressing the “Operating” button via the input unit, it switches to the “Stopped” button and the generation of manufacturing result for the corresponding workpiece type and process step stops. When the display area for “Operation Switching” displays the “Stopped” button, it indicates that generation of a manufacturing result for the corresponding workpiece type and process step is stopped. In response to the operator pressing the “stopped” button via the input unit, it switches to the “Operating” button and the manufacturing result for the corresponding workpiece type and process step is generated.

220 13 112 14 300 300 6 FIG. 6 FIG. 3 FIG. 6 FIG. In response to the operator pressing the create buttonvia the input unit, the result generation condition setting unitdisplays a new creation screen for creating a new manufacturing result generation condition on the display unit.is a diagram illustrating an example of a new creation screen.shows an example in which a manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 1 for Workpiece Type A” inis newly created. As illustrated in, in the new creation screen, “Workpiece Type A, Process Step 1” is inputted in the field of “Title of Condition” in accordance with the operator's input operation. Here, the manufacturing result generation condition includes a result generation condition (trigger) for starting the generation of a manufacturing result itself and other conditions (e.g., “machining”, “pre-setup”, etc.). For the result generation condition (trigger), a manufacturing result generation (trigger) (i.e., manufacturing result generation start), manufacturing result end, and generated data are set. For the manufacturing result generation (trigger) and manufacturing result end, “Facility”, “Trigger Classification”, and “Condition” are set. For the generated data, “ID” as identification information that is assigned to the manufacturing result to be generated and identifies the manufacturing result, “Unit of Manufacturing Management” and “Facility” indicated by the manufacturing result, and the like are set. The operator may add an item to the conditions for manufacturing result generation (trigger), manufacturing result end, and generated data by pressing a plus (+) button. The operator may delete an item from the condition for the generated data by pressing a trash button. Although the “ID” of the generated data is a combination of a fixed value (e.g., “A_01”) and a serial number in the illustrated example, it may be only a serial number or a combination of a fixed value and date/time.

121 300 13 112 300 122 For other conditions, conditions/generation values for each classification, such as “machining” and “pre-setup” are set. The classification titles of the conditions/generation values may be prepared in advance and selected by the operator, or may be freely inputted by the operator. Alternatively, the conditions/generation values may describe what condition and what value are set for each item of the generated data in accordance with an input by the operator. Data used for setting the conditions/generation values and the like may be selected and specified by the operator from a list of the manufacturing data. In response to the operator pressing the “Create” button on the new creation screenvia the input unit, the result generation condition setting unitstores the manufacturing result generation condition set on the new creation screenin the manufacturing result generation conditions.

210 230 13 112 14 300 210 240 13 112 122 6 FIG. In response to the operator selecting one row from the result generation condition listand pressing the edit buttonvia the input unit, the result generation condition setting unit.displays an edit screen for editing the selected manufacturing result generation condition on the display unit. The edit screen is similar to the new creation screenin, and detailed description of the edit screen is omitted herein. In response to the operator selecting one or more manufacturing result generation conditions from the result generation condition listand pressing the delete buttonvia the input unit, the result generation condition setting unitdeletes the selected manufacturing result generation conditions from the manufacturing result generation conditions.

The manufacturing result generation unitgenerates manufacturing data for each arbitrary unit of manufacturing management as a manufacturing result, from the manufacturing databased on the manufacturing result generation conditionsset in advance, for example. Specifically, the manufacturing result generation unitascertains, for example, that in the manufacturing datain, the machining program “O1000” started in the facility A at time t. Then, the manufacturing result generation unitascertain that a door open signal is “ON” at time tand a door close signal is “ON” at time timmediately before time t, based on the manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 1 for Workpiece Type 1” included in the manufacturing result generation conditionsin. The manufacturing result generation unitascertains that the machining program “O1010” ends at time t, based on the manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 1 for Workpiece Type 1” in. In this way, the manufacturing result generation unitgenerates “Manufacturing Result 1” illustrated in, in which “ID” is “A_01_00001”, “Unit of Manufacturing Management” is “Workpiece Type A” and “Process Step 1”, “Facility” is “Facility A”, “Pre-Setup Time” is “tto t”, “Machining Time” is “tto t”, “Compensation Value” is “0.2” that is a value of a variableat the machining start point t, and “Used Tools” are “T, T”, and so on. The manufacturing result generation unitstores the generate manufacturing result in the manufacturing results.

Further, the manufacturing result generation unitascertains that, in the manufacturing datain, the signal A for the facility B became “ON” at time t, and from this point in time, the torque command was equal to or greater than a given value for a given period of time or longer. Then, the manufacturing result generation unitascertains that the signal B becomes “ON” at time timmediately before time t, based on the manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 2 for Workpiece Type 1” included in the manufacturing result generation conditionsin. The manufacturing result generation unitfurther ascertains that the torque command becomes less than the given value at time t, based on the manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 2 of Workpiece Type 1” in. In this way, the manufacturing result generation unitgenerates “Manufacturing Result 2” illustrated in, in which “ID” is “A_02_00001”, “Unit Of Manufacturing Management” is “Workpiece Type A” and “Process Step 2”, “Facility” is “Facility B”, “Pre-Setup Time” is “tto t”, “Machining Time” is “tto t”, and “Post-Settlement Time” is “nil”, and so on. The manufacturing result generation unitstores the generated manufacturing result in the manufacturing results. The manufacturing result generation unitdetermines the post-settlement time by executing a determination program stored (registered) in advance in the storage unit. Then, the manufacturing result generation unitsets “nil” in the “Post-Setup Time” of the manufacturing result inbecause the manufacturing result generation unithas determined the post-setup time as “nil (0)” based on the result of the determination.

113 121 10 113 8 9 10 122 113 11 113 8 9 10 11 113 123 2 FIG. 3 FIG. 3 FIG. 9 FIG. Further, the manufacturing result generation unitascertains that in the manufacturing datain, the machining program “O2000” started at time tin the facility A. Then, the manufacturing result generation unitascertains that the door open signal is “ON” at time tand the door close signal is “ON” at time timmediately before time t, based on the manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 1 for workpiece type B” included in the manufacturing result generation conditionsin. The manufacturing result generation unitfurther ascertains that the machining program “O2000” ends at time t, based on the manufacturing result generation condition for the unit of manufacturing management “Process Step 1 for workpiece type 2” in. In this way, the manufacturing result generation unitgenerates “Manufacturing Result 3” illustrated in, in which “ID” is “B_01_00001”, “Unit of Manufacturing Management” is “Workpiece Type B” and “Process Step 1”, “Facility” is “Facility A”, “Pre-Setup Time” is “tto t”, and “Machining Time” is “tto t”. The manufacturing result generation unitstores the generated manufacturing result in the manufacturing results.

113 100 Next, after generating the manufacturing results based on the manufacturing result generation conditions, the manufacturing result generation unitcalculates an index (score) that indicates a probability of each of the generated manufacturing results. In the following, a case (a) where the score (up to) indicating the probability of the manufacturing result generation is calculated from comparison with a standard lead time and a case (b) where the score is calculated from a degree of similarity of a torque command will be described as examples.

113 113 113 7 FIG. The manufacturing result generation unitsets in advance a standard lead time S and a standard deviation o thereof for each period of time (type of period of time) subjected to the score calculation, such as the “Machining Time” of “Process Step 1 for Workpiece Type A” in the manufacturing result illustrated in. The manufacturing result generation unitmay calculate the score in accordance with the following equation:Score=100−(|S−t|/σ)×α, where t is the machining time of the generated manufacturing result (t=end time−start time), and & is an arbitrary constant. In a case where there are multiple periods of time to be subjected to the calculation, the manufacturing result generation unitmay calculate the average value of the scores of the multiple periods of time as the score.

12 113 121 113 113 In this case, for example, it is assumed that a model pattern of a torque command pertaining to each type of period of time of the respective unit of manufacturing management is stored (registered) in advance in the storage unit. When generating a manufacturing result, the manufacturing result generation unitacquires time-series data of a torque command for each type of period of time (e.g., the machining time, etc.) from the manufacturing data, based on the set manufacturing result generation conditions. The manufacturing result generation unitcalculates a degree of similarity between the acquired time-series data and the stored (registered) model pattern. The manufacturing result generation unitmay calculate the score by normalizing the calculated degree of similarity using known techniques (e.g., cross-correlation function (CCF), dynamic time warping (DTW), etc.).

The manufacturing result generation unitdisplays, on the display unit, a manufacturing result list screen that shows the list of generated manufacturing results, the manufacturing result generation conditions, and the calculated scores.is a diagram illustrating an example of a manufacturing result list screen. As illustrated in, the manufacturing result list screenis a user interface that has display areas for “Manufacturing Result”, “Manufacturing Result Generation Conditions”, and “Score”, and allows for filtering of the manufacturing results to be displayed by an arbitrary condition such as a period, a workpiece type, and a score. The display areas for “Manufacturing Result” in the manufacturing result list screeneach display information regarding the generated manufacturing result. The display areas for “Manufacturing Result Generation Conditions” in the manufacturing result list screeneach display the manufacturing result generation condition based on which the manufacturing result has been generated. The display area for “Manufacturing Result Generation Conditions” displays “Automatically Generated” together with a manufacturing result automatically generated based on a manufacturing result generation condition, and displays “Manually Generated” together with a manufacturing result manually inputted by an operator. The manufacturing result generation unitmay exclude the manually generated manufacturing result from the score calculation. In a case where the unit of manufacturing management is unknown at the time of generating a manufacturing result, the manufacturing result generation unit.may indicate that the unit of manufacturing management is “Unknown” and display an attention attracting mark M, thereby prompting the operator to ascertain the unit of manufacturing management and the like. In this case, in response to the operator pressing the “Edit” button via the input unit, the manufacturing result generation unitmay correct the unit of manufacturing management and the like based on the outcome of the operator's ascertainment. The display areas for “Score” in the manufacturing result list screeneach display the score indicating the probability calculated by the manufacturing result generation unit. For a manufacturing result with a low score, such as 60 or less, the manufacturing result generation unitmay display, for example, an attention attracting mark M to prompt the operator to ascertain the correspondence between the manufacturing result and the manufacturing dataor the manufacturing result generation conditions, or the like. In this case, in response to the operator pressing the “Edit” button via the input unit, the manufacturing result generation unitmay correct the manufacturing result and the like based on the outcome of the operator's ascertainment.

10 10 10 20 20 11 FIG. 11 FIG. Next, a flow of generation processing by the manufacturing information management devicewill be described with reference to.is a flowchart illustrating the generation processing by the manufacturing information management device. The illustrated flow is repeatedly performed each time the manufacturing information management. devicereceives manufacturing data from the facilitiesA andB.

In Step S, the manufacturing data acquisition unitacquires manufacturing data including at least the manufacture-related time-series data illustrated infrom each of the facilitiesA andB. The manufacturing data acquisition unitstores the manufacturing data acquired from each of the facilitiesA andB in the manufacturing datafor each of the facilitiesA andB.

2 112 13 3 4 In Step S, the result generation condition setting unitdetermines whether or not an instruction for creating a new manufacturing result generation condition or an instruction for editing or deleting an existing manufacturing result generation condition has been received from an operator via the input unit. When the instruction for the creation or the instruction for the editing or deletion has been received, the processing proceeds to step S. On the other hand, when the instruction for the creation or the instruction for the editing or deletion has not been received, the processing proceeds to Step S.

3 112 13 In Step S, the result generation condition setting unit.creates the new manufacturing result generation condition, or edits or deletes the existing manufacturing result generation condition based on the input operation by an operator via the input unit.

4 113 121 122 In Step S, the manufacturing result generation unitgenerates manufacturing data for each unit of manufacturing management from the manufacturing dataas manufacturing results, based on the manufacturing result generation conditions.

5 113 4 400 14 113 13 In Step S, the manufacturing result generation unitcalculates a score for each manufacturing result generated in Step Sand displays the manufacturing result list screenon the display unit. The manufacturing result generation unitcorrects the manufacturing results and the like based on an input operation by the operator via the input unit.

10 20 20 20 20 10 121 10 In the above-described manner, the manufacturing information management deviceaccording to one embodiment can generate manufacturing results on a per unit of manufacturing management basis based on the preset conditions, from manufacturing data that is time-series data acquired from the facilitiesA andB. As the facilitiesA andB, existing facilities can be used as they are without improvement, such as additional input of signals or the like. Further, the manufacturing information management deviceautomatically collects the manufacturing datawithout requiring an operator's time and effort, and can accurately generate the manufacturing results. Further, the manufacturing information management devicecan generate the manufacturing result in real time.

111 20 20 10 13 111 20 20 In the embodiment described above, the manufacturing data acquisition unitacquires all the manufacturing data transmitted from the facilitiesA andB, but this is a non-limiting example. For example, the manufacturing information management devicemay function as a manufacturing data acquisition condition setting unit that sets conditions for the manufacturing data to be acquired based on instructions inputted by an operator via the input unit. The manufacturing data acquisition unitmay acquire the manufacturing data transmitted from the facilitiesA andB based on the set manufacturing data acquisition conditions.

10 It should be noted that the functions included in the manufacturing information management devicein the embodiment can be implemented by hardware, software, or a combination thereof. Here, the implementation by software means that a computer reads and executes a program for the implementation.

The program can be stored in various types of non-transitory computer readable media and can be provided to a computer. The non-transitory computer readable media include various types of tangible storage media. Examples of the non-transitory computer readable media include a magnetic recording medium (e.g., a flexible disk, a magnetic tape, and a hard disk drive), a magnetic-optical recording medium (e.g., a magnetic optical disk), a read only memory (CD-ROM), a CD-R, a CD-R/W, and a semiconductor memory (e.g., a mask ROM, a programmable ROM (PROM), an erasable PROM (EPROM), a flash ROM, and a RAM). Furthermore, the program may be provided to the computer by way of various types of transitory computer readable media. Examples of the transitory computer readable media include an electrical signal, an optical signal, and an electromagnetic wave. Transitory computer readable medium can provide a program to the computer through a wired communication path, such as a wire and an optical fiber, or through a wireless communication path.

Steps of describing the program to be recorded on a recording medium include not only processes that are executed in time sequence in the order, but also processes that are executed in parallel or individually and not necessarily in time sequence. Furthermore, the steps of describing a program may be performed by cloud computing.
