Technical Abstract

An interactive game system and method for facilitating adaptive and inclusive gameplay experiences, wherein a player physically participates as a game element by moving between a plurality of instructive tiles arranged on a surface. Each of the instructive tiles includes prompts configured to elicit physical actions, verbal responses, or social interactions that influence gameplay progression. The system may include a plurality of instructive tiles, a randomization element, and instructional content configured to guide gameplay. The instructional content may provide variations of the prompts to adapt gameplay based on player age, ability, cognitive profile, or environment. The system is configurable for use in educational, therapeutic, social, or recreational settings and supports gameplay across a range of player abilities.

This is a U.S. Non-Provisional Patent Application that claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/778,077 filed Mar. 26, 2025, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

The present invention relates to an interactive, adaptive, and inclusive game system. More specifically, the present invention relates to an interactive, adaptive, and inclusive game system and method for player-based participation.

There is a growing need for family-friendly, educational, adaptive, and party-style games as households increasingly seek shared activities that are both engaging and developmentally beneficial across a wide range of ages and abilities. Traditional games often fail to accommodate varying skill levels, learning styles, or accessibility needs, limiting participation and diminishing the overall experience for mixed groups. At the same time, concerns about excessive screen time and passive entertainment have driven demand for interactive alternatives that promote critical thinking, creativity, communication, and social bonding. In addition, existing game systems often rely on abstract player representations such as tokens or pieces, which may limit engagement and adaptability across diverse player groups. Family-friendly and educational games can reinforce learning in an enjoyable format, while adaptive games ensure inclusivity for players with differing cognitive, physical, or age-related capabilities. Party games further address the need for easy-to-learn, highly engaging experiences that foster collaboration and meaningful social interaction, making them particularly valuable in both home and group settings.

What is needed is an interactive game system and method for player-based participation that aligns with the larger trend of interactive and adaptive learning tools that provide both structure and engagement for people of all ages and abilities.

The present invention provides an interactive game system and method for player-based participation in which a player functions as the primary game element. The interactive game system includes game components such as a plurality of instructive tiles, a randomization element, at least one prompt, instructional content, a transportable containment bag and a containment system.

Gameplay progression is determined by player responses, actions, or interactions. In alternate embodiments, the interactive game system may be configured as a modular platform supporting multiple game types, themes, and player groups of varying ages and abilities.

Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of an interactive game system. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.

It is therefore submitted that the instant invention has been shown and described in various embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
