1. A transmission apparatus comprising: first input means for inputting first data including non-prediction coded data and prediction coded data; second input means for inputting second data; designation means for designating an insertion location in said first data where said second data is to be inserted; and insertion means for inserting said second data at a position which is after the first data of the non-prediction coded data in accordance with an output of said designation means.
2. Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said first data and said second data comprise image data, respectively.
3. Apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising coding means for coding said second data by using, as a reference, the first data of the non-prediction coded data.
4. Apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said coding means performs coding based upon a MPEG method.
5. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the second data is inserted between the non-prediction coded data of the first data and the prediction coded data subsequent to the non-prediction coded data of the first data.
6. Apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second data processed by said insertion means.
7. A transmission apparatus comprising: synthesizing means for synthesizing first data and second data, the first data being coded by a predetermined coding method; control means for controlling a point position in said first data where said second data is synthesized on the basis of the predetermined coding method, the second data being synthesized at a position after the controlled position of the first data; and marking means for marking the point position in the first data where the second data is synthesized.
8. Apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising designation means for designating the point position in the first data where the second data is synthesized.
9. Apparatus according to claim 8, wherein said control means determines the point position based on the predetermined coding method regardless of the point position designated by said designation means.
10. Apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said control means shifts the point position to a position of non-prediction coded data positioned after the designated point position.
11. Apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second data processed by said synthesizing means.
12. A coding apparatus comprising: first input means for inputting first image data including intra-picture coded data and inter-picture coded data; second input means for inputting second image data; designation means for designating an insertion location in the first image data where the second image data is to be inserted; and insertion means for inserting the second image data at a position which is after the first image data of the intra-picture coded data in accordance with an output of said designation means.
13. Apparatus according to claim 12, further comprising coding means for coding said second image data by using, as a reference, the first image data of the intra-picture coded data.
14. Apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said coding means performs coding based on a MPEG method.
15. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein the second image data is inserted between the intra-picture coded data the first image data and the inter-picture coded data subsequent to the intra-picture coded data of the first image data.
16. Apparatus according to claim 12, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second data processed by said insertion means.
17. A method of transmitting data comprising the steps of: a first input step for inputting first data including non-prediction coded data and prediction coded data; a second input step for inputting second data; a designation step for designating an insertion location in said first data where said second data is to be inserted; and an insertion step for inserting said second data at a position which is after the first data of the non-prediction coded data in accordance with an output of said designation step.
18. A method according to claim 17, wherein the second image data is inserted between the non-prediction coded data of the first data and the prediction coded data subsequent to the non-prediction coded data of the first data.
19. A data transmission method comprising the steps of: a synthesizing step for synthesizing first data and second data, the first data being coded by a predetermined coding method; a control step for controlling a point position in the first data where the second data is synthesized on the basis of the predetermined coding method, the second data being synthesized at a position after the controlled position of the first data; and a marking step for marking the point position in the first data where the second data is synthesized.
20. An image processing apparatus comprising: combining means for combining first image data with second image data, said first image data being coded using intra-picture coding and inter-picture coding; and control means for controlling a timing of the combining of the first image data with the second image data, said control means controlling the combining timing so as to not combine the first image data with the second image data before coded data of a reference image of the first image data.
21. Apparatus according to claim 20, wherein the inter-picture coding is performed by using a preceding image and a succeeding image as the reference image of an image to be subjected to coding processing.
22. Apparatus according to claim 21, wherein the intra-picture coding is performed at an interval of a predetermined number of pictures.
23. Apparatus according to claim 22, wherein the first image data comprises data which is coded by a MPEG method.
24. Apparatus according to claim 22, wherein the second image data comprises data which is coded by using the intra-picture coding and the inter-picture coding.
25. Apparatus according to claim 24, therein coded data combined by said combining means includes coded data coded at the interval of the predetermined number of pictures by the intra-picture coding.
26. Apparatus according to claim 20, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second image data processed by said combining means.
27. An image processing method comprising the steps of: combining first image data with second image data, the first image data being coded by using intra-picture coding and inter-picture coding; and controlling a timing of the combining of the first image data with the second image data, said controlling step controlling the combining timing so as not to combine the first image data with the second image data before coded data of a reference image of the first image data.
28. A method according to claim 14, wherein the second image data is inserted between the intra-picture coded data the first data and the inter-picture coded data subsequent to the intra-picture coded data of the first image data.
29. An image processing apparatus comprising: combining means for combining first image data with second image data, said first image data being coded using intra-picture coding and inter-picture coding; and control means for controlling a timing of the combining of the first image data with the second image data, said control means controlling the combining timing so as to combine the first image data with the second image data after the intra-picture coded data of the first image data.
30. An apparatus according to claim 29, wherein the second image data is combined with the first data at a location between the intra-picture coded data the first data and the inter-picture coded data subsequent to the intra-picture coded data of the first data.
31. Apparatus according to claim 29, wherein the intra-picture coding is performed at an interval of a predetermined number of pictures.
32. Apparatus according to claim 29, wherein the first image data comprises data which is coded by a MPEG method.
33. Apparatus according to claim 29, wherein the second image data comprises data which is coded by using the intra-picture coding and the inter-picture coding.
34. Apparatus according to claim 29, wherein the second image data comprises data which is coded by a MPEG method.
35. Apparatus according to claim 29, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second image data processed by said combining means.
36. An image processing method comprising the steps of: combining first image data with second image data, said first image data being coded using intra-picture coding and inter-picture coding; and controlling a timing of the combining of the first image data with the second image data, said control step controlling the combining timing so as to combine the first image data with the second image data after the intra-picture coded data of the first image data.
37. A method according to claim 36, wherein the second image data is combined with the first data at a location between the intra-picture coded data of the first data and the inter-picture coded data subsequent to the intra-picture coded data of the first data.
38. An image processing apparatus for performing processing to insert second image data in a first image data including intra-picture coded data and inter-picture coded data, comprising: input means for inputting the second image data; and insertion means for inserting the second image data at a position which is immediately after the first image data of the intra-picture coded data.
39. Apparatus according to claim 38, wherein the first image data comprises data which is coded by an MPEG method.
40. Apparatus according to claim 39, wherein the second image data comprises data which is coded by an MPEG method.
41. Apparatus according to claim 38, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second image data processed by said insertion means.
42. An image processing method for performing processing to insert second image data in first image data including intra-picture coded data and inter-picture coded data, comprising the steps of: inputting the second image data; and inserting the second image data at a position which is immediately after the first image data of the intra-picture coded data.
43. An image processing apparatus comprising: synthesizing means for synthesizing first image data and second image data, the first image data including intra-picture coded data and inter-picture coded data; and control means for controlling a position in the first image data where said second data is synthesized, the second image data being synthesized at a position immediately after the intra-picture coded data of the first image.
44. Apparatus according to claim 43, wherein the first image data comprises data which is coded by an MPEG method.
45. Apparatus according to claim 44, wherein the second image data comprises data which is coded by an MPEG method.
46. Apparatus according to claim 43, further comprising recording means for recording on a recording medium the first and second image data processed by said insertion means.
47. An image processing method comprising the steps of: synthesizing first image data and second image data, the first image data included intra-picture coded data and inter-picture coded data; and controlling a position of the first image data where said second image data is synthesized, the second image data being synthesized at a position immediately after the intra-picture coded data of the first image.
