1. A gaming system comprising: at least one display device; at least one input device; at least one processor; and at least one memory device storing a plurality of instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device to: (a) display a play of a first primary game, said first primary game having a first triggering event; (b) display a play of a second primary game, said second primary game having a second triggering event, wherein the first triggering event and the second triggering event are configured to be independently generated and the first primary game and the second primary game are independently operable without regard to one another; (c) display a first bonus award opportunity if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event does not occur in the play of the second primary game; (d) display a second bonus award opportunity if: (i) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game, and (ii) the first triggering event does not occur in the play of the first primary game; and (e) display a multi-trigger bonus game if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game.

6

6. The gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of instructors, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to: (a) display a play of a third primary game, said third primary game having a third triggering event, wherein the first triggering event, the second triggering event, and the third triggering event are configured to be independently generated and the first primary game, the second primary game, and the third primary game are independently operable without regard to one another; and (b) display the multi-trigger bonus game if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, (ii) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game, and (iii) the third triggering event occurs in the play of the third primary game.

7

7. A method of operating a gaming system, said method comprising: causing at least one processor to execute a plurality of instructions stored in at least one memory device to operate with at least one display device to: (a) display a play of a first primary game, said first primary game having a first triggering event; (b) display a play of a second primary game, said second primary game having a second triggering event, wherein the first triggering event and the second triggering event are configured to be independently generated and the first primary game and the second primary game are independently operable without regard to one another; (c) display a first bonus award opportunity if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event does not occur in the play of the second primary game; (d) display a second bonus award opportunity if: (i) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game, and (ii) the first triggering event does not occur in the play of the first primary game; and (e) display a multi-trigger bonus game if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game.

8

8. The method of claim 7 , which includes causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the at least one display device to display the play of the second primary game after completion of the play of the first primary game.

9

9. The method of claim 7 , which includes which includes causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the at least one display device to display the play of the second primary game upon an occurrence of a designated event in association with the play of the first primary game.

10

10. The method of claim 7 , which includes which includes causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the at least one display device to: (a) display a plurality of plays of the second primary game upon an occurrence of a designated event in association with the play of the first primary game; and (b) display the multi-trigger bonus game if (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event occurs in any one of the plays of the second primary game.

11

11. The method of claim 7 , which includes which includes causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the at least one display device to display at least part of the play of the second primary game prior to completion of the play of the first primary game.

12

12. The method of claim 7 , which includes which includes causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the at least one display device to: (a) display a play of a third primary game, said third primary game having a third triggering event, wherein the first triggering event, the second triggering event, and the third triggering event are configured to be independently generated and the first primary game, the second primary game, and the third primary game are independently operable without regard to one another; and (b) display the multi-trigger bonus game if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, (ii) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game, and (iii) the third triggering event occurs in the play of the third primary game.

13

13. The method of claim 7 , which is provided through a data network.

14

14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the data network is an internet.

15

15. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a plurality of instructions which, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to: (a) cause at least one display device to display a play of a first primary game, said first primary game having a first triggering event; (b) cause the at least one display device to display a play of a second primary game, said second primary game having a second triggering event, wherein the first triggering event and the second triggering event are configured to be independently generated and the first primary game and the second primary game are independently operable without regard to one another; (c) cause the at least one display device to display a first bonus award opportunity if: (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event does not occur in the play of the second primary game; (d) cause the at least one display device to display a second bonus award opportunity if: (i) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game, and (ii) the first triggering event does not occur in the play of the first primary game; and (e) cause the at least one display device to display a multi-trigger bonus game it (i) the first triggering event occurs in the play of the first primary game, and (ii) the second triggering event occurs in the play of the second primary game.
