Claim 1

Original Legal Text

1. A computer implemented method for executing application code in a social networking website, the method comprising: analyzing one or more speech recordings from a first user that is in conversation with a second user; displaying the conversation in a graphical user interface of the social networking website; filtering at least a word from the analyzed one or more speech recordings; generating a tag from the filtered word; searching automatically, by an application server, at least one media file that was taken by the first user and is relevant to the first user's conversation using at least one of the filtered word and the tag to locate the at least one media file that is relevant to the tag; uploading automatically, by the application server, the at least one relevant media file into the social networking website; connecting the tag with the at least one relevant media file; adding a link to the at least one relevant media file and the tag to the display of the conversation in the graphical user interface of the social networking website; parsing the one or more speech recordings of the conversation to determine one or more topics of the conversation; and presenting the one or more topics on the graphical user interface of the social networking website to enable the second user of the conversation to select at least one of the one or more topics, wherein a topic selection of the one or more topics by the second user causes only speech recordings of the conversation pertaining to the topic selection and one or more relevant speech recordings before and after the speech recordings of the conversation pertaining to the topic selection, to be displayed on the graphical user interface wherein the one or more relevant speech recordings before and after the speech recordings of the conversation pertaining to the topic selection are displayed to the second user so as to allow the second user to understand the context of respective speech recording pertaining to the topic selection as it occurred in the conversation.

Plain English Translation

A computer-implemented method executes application code within a social networking website. The method involves analyzing speech recordings from two users in a conversation displayed on the website's graphical user interface. It filters words from the speech, generates a tag from the filtered word, and uses the tag to automatically search for relevant media files taken by the first user. The application server uploads the located media file into the social networking website. The tag is connected with the relevant media file, and a link to both appears in the conversation display. The system parses speech to determine conversation topics. The topics are presented to the second user, who can select a topic to display only relevant speech recordings and those immediately before and after it, providing context for understanding.
