A method and device for accessing and obtaining user equipment (UE) context and UE identity are provided. The method for access includes: when a UE accesses a System Architecture Evolution (SAE) network, judging, by a network node, whether a Globally Unique Mobility Management Entity Identifier (GUMMEI) carried by the UE or a Mobility Management Entity Group Identity (MMEGI) in the GUMMEI is allocated or mapped by the SAE network; if the GUMMEI or MMEGI is allocated by the SAE network, selecting, by the network node, a Mobility Management Entity (MME) according to the GUMMEIA network device includes an identity attribute obtaining module and a network resource node allocation module. Therefore, the access of the UE is achieved.
Legal claims defining the scope of protection, as filed with the USPTO.
1. A method for access, comprising: receiving, by a mobility management entity (MME) served as an old MME, a context request including an old routing area identification (RAI), a packet temporary mobile subscriber identity (P-TMSI) and a P-TMSI signature from a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) support node (SGSN); reconstructing, by the MME, a global unique temporary identity (GUTI) from the old RAI, the P-TMSI and the P-TMSI signature; obtaining, by the MME, a user equipment (UE) context of a UE according to the GUTI; and returning, by the MME, the UE context of the UE to the SGSN.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the old RAI and P-TMSI is mapped from a GUTI.
3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the context request is sent from the SGSN according to an address of the MME which is found according to the old RAI and the P-TMSI from the UE.
4. A mobility management entity (MME), comprising: a receiver, configured to receive a context request including an old routing area identification (RAI), a packet temporary mobile subscriber identity (P-TMSI) and a P-TMSI signature from a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) support node (SGSN); a processor, configured to reconstruct a global unique temporary identity (GUTI) from the old RAI, the P-TMSI and the P-TMSI signature and obtain a user equipment (UE) context of a UE according to the GUTI; and a transmitter, configured to transmit the UE context of the UE to the SGSN.
5. The MME according to claim 4 , wherein the old RAI and P-TMSI is mapped from a GUTI.
6. The MME according to claim 4 , wherein the context request is sent from the SGSN according to an address of the MME which is found according to the old RAI and the P-TMSI from the UE.
7. A communication system, comprising: a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) support node (SGSN) and a mobility management entity (MME) served as an old MME; wherein the SGSN is configured to send a context request including an old routing area identification (old RAI), a packet temporary mobile subscriber identity (P-TMSI) and a P-TMSI signature to the old MME; wherein the old MME is configured to reconstruct a Global Unique Temporary Identity (GUTI) from the old RAI, the P-TMSI and the P-TMSI signature; wherein the old MME is configured to obtain a user equipment (UE) context of a UE according to the GUTI and return the UE context to the SGSN.
8. The communication system according to claim 7 , wherein the old RAI and P-TMSI is mapped from a GUTI.
9. The communication system according to claim 7 , wherein the SGSN is further configured to find an address of the old MME according to the old RAI and the P-TMSI from the UE; and the context request is sent according to the address of the old MME.
10. A non-transitory computer program product, comprising a computer readable medium and computer program stored in the medium, wherein the computer program is executed to make an mobility management entity (MME) receive a context request including an old routing area identification (RAI), a packet temporary mobile subscriber identity (P-TMSI) and a P-TMSI signature from a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) support node (SGSN); reconstruct a global unique temporary identity (GUTI) from the old RAI, the P-TMSI and the P-TMSI signature; obtain a user equipment (UE) context of a UE according to the GUTI; and return the UE context of the UE to the SGSN.
11. The non-transitory computer program product according to claim 10 , wherein the old RAI and P-TMSI is mapped from a GUTI.
12. The non-transitory computer program product according to claim 10 , wherein the context request is sent from the SGSN according to an address of the MME which is found according to the old RAI and the P-TMSI from the UE.
13. A method for access, comprising: finding, by a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) support node (SGSN), an address of a corresponding old entity according to an old routing area identification (old RAI) and a packet temporary mobile subscriber identity (P-TMSI) from a user equipment (UE); obtaining, by the SGSN, a UE context of the UE from the corresponding old entity; and wherein when the corresponding old entity is an old mobility management entity (MME), the obtaining, by the SGSN, the UE context from the corresponding old entity, comprises: sending, by the SGSN, a context request including the old RAI, the P-TMSI and a P-TMSI signature to the old MME and obtaining, by the SGSN, the UE context of the UE from the old MME, wherein the UE context of the UE is found and returned by the old MME by reconstructing a global unique temporary identity (GUTI) from the old RAI, the P-MSI and the P-TMSI signature.
14. The method according to claim 13 , wherein the old RAI and P-TMSI is mapped from a GUTI.
