Claim 1: . A new and distinct cultivar ofplant named ‘BTSB One’ as herein illustrated and described.

Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

Latin name of the genus and species:

Variety denomination: ‘BTSB ONE’.

The newcultivar is a product of a planned breeding program conducted by the inventor, in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy. The objective of the breeding program was to produce newvarieties for commercial fruit production.

The seed parent is an unpatented, proprietary variety referred to as ‘BT15-01’. The pollen parent an unpatented, proprietary variety referred to as ‘BT17ST120’. The cross resulting in ‘BTST ONE’ was made around July 2020. The initial selection was made during 2021.

Asexual reproduction of the new cultivar was first performed by vegetative runners. This was first performed at a research greenhouse in Verona, Italy in Summer of 2021. Subsequent propagation has shown that the unique features of this cultivar are stable and reproduced true to type in multiple successive generations.

The cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ has not been observed under all possible environmental conditions. The phenotype may vary somewhat with variations in environment such as temperature, day length, and light intensity, without, however, any variance in genotype.

The following traits have been repeatedly observed and are determined to be the unique characteristics of ‘BTSB ONE’. These characteristics in combination distinguish ‘BTSB ONE’ as a new and distinctcultivar:

Plants of the new cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ are similar to plants of the seed parent, in most horticultural characteristics, however, plants of the new cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ differ in the following:

Plants of the new cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ are similar to plants of the pollen parent, in most horticultural characteristics, however, plants of the new cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ differ in the following:

Plants of the new cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ are comparable to the patented commercial variety‘Portola’ U.S. Plant Pat. No. 20,552. The twovarieties are similar in most horticultural characteristics; however, the new variety ‘BTSB ONE’ differs in the following:

Plants of the new cultivar ‘BTSB ONE’ are comparable to the patented commercial variety‘Favori’ unpatented. The twovarieties are similar in most horticultural characteristics; however, the new variety ‘BTSB ONE’ differs in the following:

In the following description, color references are made to The Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart 2019 except where general terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used. The following observations and measurements describe ‘BTSB ONE’ plants grown in the Summer of 2014, in open sided poly tunnels in Baselgia di Pine, Italy. No chemical treatments, including growth regulators were given. The growing temperature ranged from 20° C. to 36° C. during the day and from 12° C. to 30° C. during the night. General light conditions are bright, normal sunlight. Measurements and numerical values represent averages of typical plant types.
